Our Story

In early 2014, a dedicated group of individuals came together to address the pressing humanitarian need of hunger in Eastern Oklahoma County. This collaboration led to the establishment of the Eastern Oklahoma County Resource Center (EOCRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Nine years later, EOCRC remains committed to meeting the community's needs, with plans to build a modern resource center that will provide food, personal items, financial counseling, employment assistance, and access to vital community resources year-round.

Impact

Over the past decade, EOCRC has made a significant impact by distributing nearly 14,000 pounds of food and providing over $30,000 in gifts and essential items each Christmas. In the summer of 2023 alone, EOCRC served over 5,400 meals to at-risk children and supplied school essentials to more than 4,000 students across 26 school sites annually.
