Our Story
Eastern Area Community Ministries (EACM) has been dedicated to addressing the human needs of those living in eastern Jefferson County since 1990. As part of the Association of Community Ministries, EACM collaborates with individuals, congregations, service organizations, businesses, and local governments to meet the needs of the community.
Our Impact
At EACM, the belief is that a community is stronger when its neighbors are fed, sheltered, and safe. In times of emergency, EACM provides essential support, whether it’s keeping food on the table, ensuring utilities remain connected, or preventing eviction.
