The East Side Youth Sports Foundation (ESYSF) is dedicated to expanding youth sports opportunities for children on Detroit’s eastside. Founded in 2014, the organization initially focused on hockey but has since evolved to support a variety of sports, serving over 1,000 children annually. By revitalizing the East Side Hockey Ice Arena and partnering with local programs, ESYSF provides essential resources such as grants, scholarships, and equipment to underserved youth.

Making a Difference

To date, ESYSF has awarded $124,000 in scholarships to 132 underprivileged kids and invested over $1 million in facility upgrades, ensuring a top-tier experience for the community.
