Our Story

Founded in 1975 by compassionate neighbors, the East Falls Community Council began as an events committee dedicated to enhancing the East Falls area. Over the years, this all-volunteer council has evolved into a vital community organization, publishing the neighborhood newspaper, The East Falls NOW, and serving as a Recognized Community Organization (RCO) to address zoning and traffic concerns with the city of Philadelphia. The council collaborates closely with various volunteer-based organizations, striving to improve the quality of life for every resident.
