The East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC) was founded in 2009 by Harold Brown, who transformed a dilapidated motel into a shelter for the homeless. With personal experience in overcoming homelessness and addiction, Harold's vision was to create a supportive environment that fosters recovery and independence.

Since its inception, ECTLC has positively impacted thousands of lives, providing shelter, support, and resources to over 450 individuals and families daily. The organization effectively addresses homelessness and poverty through its comprehensive programs.
