Since 1968, the Center has served over 50,000 student artists from diverse backgrounds, equipping them with the skills to think critically, lead effectively, and contribute positively to their communities.

Functioning as a vital part of the local ecosystem, the Center reaches thousands of pre-K through high school students through in-school and after-school programs. It aims to cultivate transformational young leaders and produce work that tells Richmond’s story from a community perspective.
