Founded in 2010 by naturalist Steve O'Neil, Earthshine Nature Programs (ENP) is dedicated to fostering a lasting interest and respect for wildlife and the natural environment. Through hands-on, experiential environmental education, ENP reaches out to local and regional communities, bringing science-focused messages of nature conservation and renewable energy awareness to schools, libraries, and special events.
Operating on 100% solar-sourced renewable energy, ENP has created a unique solar-powered nature and science education classroom that serves students and the public. The organization focuses on wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and environmental conservation, positively impacting communities in Western North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and East Tennessee.
