Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Quakers from Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, Earth Quaker Action Team (EQAT) is dedicated to grassroots, nonviolent action that promotes a just and sustainable economy. Through campaigns like Bank Like Appalachia Matters (BLAM!) and Power Local Green Jobs, EQAT confronts powerful corporations to advocate for climate justice.
