The Early Excellence Project (EEP) was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by a dedicated group of Black women educators, led by Brittini Wright-Burley. Established in 2020, EEP is committed to narrowing the opportunity gap in early learning systems by enriching the education of Black and other marginalized children.
EEP has emerged as a powerful advocate for early childhood education, particularly in communities like the Hill District and Penn Hills. Through innovative programs and resources, EEP empowers childcare providers and enhances educational outcomes for children.
