Eagle Lake Baseball has been a cornerstone of the community for over 60 years, evolving from its roots in the Dixie Youth Baseball organization to its current affiliation with the Cal Ripken association. The park has been graced by the support of notable figures, including former Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Diaz, who served as a league president. Under the leadership of Jake Wren, the organization emphasizes community involvement and player development, ensuring that the legacy of high-quality coaching continues.

Throughout its history, Eagle Lake Baseball has nurtured talent, producing players like Trey Mancini and Jacob Newberry. The park's teams have achieved remarkable success, including the 2021 10u Cal Ripken State Champions, who showcased their skills on a national stage by finishing 4th in the Cal Ripken World Series.
