In 1997, when state funding for social workers was cut, school counselors and resource officers in Meridian came together to support families in need. This grassroots effort blossomed into the Eagle Community Foodbank, officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charity in 2013, dedicated to serving the residents of Eagle and Star.
Every month, the foodbank distributes food to 350-500 individuals, ensuring that families in Eagle and Star have access to essential nourishment.
