Our Story

Founded in 2002, e inc. is dedicated to fostering science literacy and environmental involvement among urban children, teens, and families. With a focus on integrating science skills with hands-on actions, e inc. transforms children into inspired investigators and problem-solvers through exceptional science programming. Over its 22-year history, e inc. has developed 14 unique environment-science curriculums tailored to various age groups, with its flagship program, Kids Green their School, impacting over a thousand students annually.

Impact

Since its inception, e inc. has served approximately 2,500 young people each year across day schools, after-school programs, and out-of-school youth initiatives in two cities. The organization has achieved a remarkable 35-45% increase in pre-to-post science test scores, demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing science literacy among learners.
