The Reading Center

Our Story

The Reading Center, established in 1951 by Paula Rome in Rochester, Minnesota, has dedicated itself to serving individuals affected by dyslexia. With a rich history of providing diagnostic and educational services, the center has grown to offer both in-person and online training for educators using the Orton-Gillingham approach.

Impact

Since its inception, The Reading Center has tested and taught over 10,000 students and trained over 2,300 educators, significantly enhancing literacy for individuals with dyslexia.
