Since 1998, the Durkeeville Historical Society & Museum has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the Durkeeville neighborhood. Founded in response to the injustices of Jim Crow, this organization honors the past while educating and uplifting the community.
The museum showcases incredible memorabilia and artifacts, contributing significantly to the preservation of Black history and culture in the Greater Jacksonville area.
