Our Story

Jewish for Good, formerly known as the Jewish Federation of Durham-Chapel Hill, has been a cornerstone of the local Jewish community since its inception in the 1960s. Located at the Levin JCC, this 501(c)(3) organization serves Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Alamance Counties. Initially focused on raising funds for Israel, it has evolved to support local needs through Jewish Family Services, the Jewish Community Foundation, and various programs for children and seniors. Today, it stands as a vibrant hub, fostering connections and providing essential services.
