Dunebrook Inc. is a dedicated family resource and Child Advocacy Center located in LaPorte County, Indiana. Established through a grassroots community effort in the mid-1980s, Dunebrook emerged from the Child Abuse Advisory Team (C.A.A.T.), which was formed by professionals from healthcare, law enforcement, and social services. This team recognized the urgent need to address child abuse and neglect in the community.

Inspired by the National Child Advocacy Center's child-centered approach, C.A.A.T. sought to create a safe and welcoming environment for children undergoing forensic interviews. The transformation of a single-family dwelling on Johnson Road into the Dunebrook facility symbolizes the community's commitment to protecting children. Today, Dunebrook stands as a leader in providing essential services such as parenting classes, home visitation, child sexual abuse prevention education, forensic interviewing, family advocacy, and trauma-informed mental health services.
