Our Story

The Duluth-Superior Sailing Association (DSSA) was established in 1984 through a collaboration between Duluth Parks and Recreation and the 4H program. Under the leadership of Scott R. Anderson, the organization has significantly advanced adaptive sailing for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that sailing is accessible to everyone.

Our Impact

DSSA provides affordable sailing programs for all ages and skill levels, allowing individuals to experience the joy of sailing. The Scott R. Anderson Memorial Fund plays a crucial role in supporting both able-bodied and disabled sailors, promoting inclusivity in the sport.
