The Duck Cup Memorial Fund was established by graduates of New Prague High School Class of 2000 in memory of a dear friend lost to suicide. Founded in 2013, this organization aims to provide essential resources for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, initially targeting high school students in New Prague and later expanding its reach to grades 5-12 across Minnesota and Iowa.
In 2024, the Duck Cup Memorial Fund successfully reached over 43,000 students, parents, teachers, and community members through impactful speaking engagements, enhancing understanding and awareness of mental health issues.
