Our Story

Drexel Neumann Academy was founded in 2007 following the closure of St. Katharine Drexel School. This independent Catholic school was established through the collaboration of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Neumann University, the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, and St. Katharine Drexel Parish. The academy integrates Gospel values with academic excellence in a multicultural environment, ensuring a safe educational space for children in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Impact

Since its inception, Drexel Neumann Academy has provided a Catholic education to over 191 students, with more than 90% requiring tuition assistance. The school boasts a 100% graduation rate for eighth-grade students, many of whom receive scholarships to continue their education at Catholic high schools. The academy promotes non-violence and peacemaking, fostering a nurturing learning environment.
