Our Story

DragonSprouts is a dedicated parent-led nonprofit organization that champions the Mandarin Immersion program in Los Angeles Unified School District's Westside schools. Founded in 2012, DragonSprouts emerged from the vision of Principal Susan Wang and a committed group of parents, ensuring that the program, which began in 2010 with just two kindergarten classes at Broadway Elementary, receives the necessary support and resources. Today, the program has expanded to over 700 students across four campuses, fostering a vibrant community of learners.
