Our Story

Lanse Truman Fox, born in Kaufman, Texas, dedicated his life to veterinary medicine and his community. After earning his degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University and completing his doctorate at Auburn University, Lanse worked tirelessly at Kaufman Vet Center. His legacy of compassion and service continued even after his passing in 2014 as an organ donor, saving lives and inspiring others. The Dr. Lanse T. Fox Memorial Organization was established to honor his memory by providing scholarships to aspiring veterinarians.
