Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership

Our Story

Founded in 1999, the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership was born from the vision of local retailers and business owners who sought to revitalize the downtown area. With the support of the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce, a Business Improvement District (BID) was established, paving the way for a vibrant community hub. The DFP officially became an independent nonprofit organization in 2013, governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors.

Impact

Today, the DFP represents 284 businesses, with 76% being small, locally-owned enterprises, and plays a crucial role in positioning Downtown Fond du Lac as a cultural and economic center.
