Our Story

Founded in June 1999 by five families in the Central Valley, the Down Syndrome Association of Central California (DSACC) began as a grassroots effort to support individuals with Down syndrome. Originally known as the Fresno Area Down Syndrome Society, the organization officially became DSACC in January 2000, expanding its reach to serve Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera, Mariposa, and Merced Counties.

Our Impact

DSACC is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all individuals affected by Down syndrome. Through various programs and events, the organization promotes awareness of the developmental, educational, and social potential of these individuals.
