In 2003, amidst the AIDS epidemic and civil unrest in Uganda, two pastors from the US, Mark Schmutz and Brian Strom, partnered with local Ugandan pastors to establish the Dove Uganda Children's Fund. This initiative was born out of a deep commitment to support children affected by war and poverty.
DUCF has successfully sponsored over 370 children, providing them with hope and essential support in a war-ravaged country.
