Our Story

The Double D Bar Ranch was established in 1997 to provide a safe haven for abandoned and neglected farm animals. Initially focused on horses, the mission expanded in 1999 when additional land was acquired, allowing for the rescue of 50 animals from a former owner who intended to slaughter them.
