Our Story
The Dothan Rescue Mission, founded in January 1979 by Frank Williams, began as a men’s lodge, women’s lodge, and soup kitchen. Over the years, it has expanded its facilities and services to better serve the homeless community in Dothan, Alabama, including the construction of new lodges and a distribution center.

In 2019, the Dothan Rescue Mission provided 12,528 beds, 31,572 meals, and assistance to 528 households with utility bills, showcasing its significant impact on the local community.
