Our Story

Dothan Landmarks Foundation, established in 1976, is dedicated to preserving historic sites in Dothan, Alabama. It has evolved into the largest nonprofit community organization in Southeast Alabama, Northwest Florida, and Southwest Georgia, engaging over 1,600 family members and welcoming 50,000 visitors annually.

Our Impact

Landmark Park serves as Alabama’s Official Museum of Agriculture, offering educational programs that preserve the cultural and natural heritage of the Wiregrass region. Each year, over 14,000 school children visit for field trips, enriching their educational experiences.
