Our Story

The Dorothy Day House of Hospitality Services, part of the Youngstown Catholic Worker, was established in 2009 through the collaborative efforts of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary and the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown. Under the guidance of Sr. Ann McManamon, this organization has become a beacon of hope for those in need, offering a safe haven and essential services to the community.

Impact

Each evening, approximately 75 guests find refuge at the Dorothy Day House, where they are provided with nourishing meals, a welcoming environment, and access to showers and fresh produce from the on-site garden.
