Our Story
For over 55 years, the Donation Center Foundation of Rhode Island has been dedicated to empowering children to reach their maximum potential. Founded in 1966 by a group of visionary businesswomen from Zonta International, the organization began with the Big Sister program, which has since evolved into Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island, expanding its reach to include boys and girls alike.
Impact
In 2024, BBBSRI aims to match 65 mentees, serve 1200 individuals, and divert over 3 million pounds of textiles from landfills, demonstrating a strong commitment to both community and environmental sustainability.
