Our Story

Founded in 2017 by Fr. Andrew Katende, Don Bosco Children’s Foundation Uganda is dedicated to uplifting vulnerable children and families in villages outside of Kampala, including Kiryanjagi, Hoima, Pakanyi, and Masindi. With the support of a dedicated board in the U.S., DBCF Uganda focuses on evangelization and providing essential services to those in need. Together with a team of compassionate ministers, Fr. Katende works tirelessly to bring hope, aid, and educational opportunities to the disadvantaged.

Our Impact

DBCF Uganda strives to enact Christian love and mercy by delivering economic aid and creating educational opportunities. The foundation aims to raise morally grounded, spiritually strong, and soundly educated children while supporting families to positively impact their communities and nation. Through these efforts, DBCF Uganda is building safer and healthier communities for future generations.
