Our Story

Founded by the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, Dominican Village is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian Independent and Assisted Living Retirement Community. Established in 1992, it has a rich history rooted in serving the needs of German Catholic immigrants since the mid-19th century. The mission is to provide a supportive environment that respects the sacredness of life and the dignity of each person.
