Doing Art Together, Inc. (DAT) is a nonprofit arts education organization founded in 1982. With a mission to provide hands-on, arts-based curricula, DAT has positively impacted over 100,000 children in New York City’s public schools and alternative education sites. Established by Muriel Silberstein-Storfer and Electra Askitopoulos-Friedman, the organization aims to offer educational advantages to children from under-resourced communities through engaging art workshops.
