Founded in October 2004, Dogs4Diabetics (D4D) is the first service dog provider for insulin-dependent diabetics accredited by Assistance Dogs International. The journey began with a life-saving partnership between Mark and Armstrong, recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first scientifically-trained alert team for diabetics.

Our Impact

D4D maintains ethical and industry-leading standards for innovative scent-trained dogs, capable of detecting blood sugar changes 20-30 minutes before the latest technology. D4D trains dogs, unites them with clients, and supports these teams for life, all at no cost.
