The Doctrina Foundation was inspired by the kindness of the African people during a work trip to West Africa in 2018. Witnessing the urgent need for education, especially in reading, the founder introduced a proven reading program from Learning Dynamics Pre-schools to families and orphanages. With the support of friends and generous donations, the foundation was established to provide essential reading programs and training to local teachers, focusing on orphans and children in need.
Since its inception, the Doctrina Foundation has successfully implemented a reading program that enables children aged 4-7 to read simple words and sentences within just 4 weeks, and full books in 3-4 months. This initiative has significantly improved literacy among children in Ghana.
