Divine Mercy House

Our Story

Established in 1996, Divine Mercy House was created to provide a safe haven for single women facing crisis pregnancies. Located in the historic Mandarin area of Jacksonville, Florida, this ministry began with a small home accommodating three women, offering them the chance to give birth, earn a GED, and complete vocational training in a nurturing environment. With the generous support of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and other benefactors, the ministry expanded, leading to the opening of a larger, permanent home in 2007.

Impact

Since its inception, Divine Mercy House has served over 100 women, providing holistic care and support throughout their pregnancies and beyond. Each year, an average of 6-10 women benefit from this life-changing program.
