D.I.V.I.N.E. Institute was founded by Aretta-Rie Johnson in 1995 to engage inner city youth during the summer by improving their vocabulary and manners. Over the years, it has evolved from a small summer program into a state-run emergency shelter and group home for girls aged 12-17, focusing on cultural enrichment and personal development.
D.I.V.I.N.E. Intervention has successfully provided a safe environment for girls facing challenges such as truancy and behavioral issues, helping them develop positive self-esteem and relationships.
