Our Story

Diversity Equal Opportunity Network Incorporated (DEON) is a pioneering 501c3 non-profit organization founded in January 2021 by Shelja, an award-winning Diversity & Inclusion leader. DEON is dedicated to transforming communities through education, focusing on vulnerable, oppressed, and minority populations.

Impact

Since its inception, DEON has introduced over 100,000 individuals to inclusive events, provided meals to over 3,000 low-income and homeless individuals, and conducted DEIBA workshops for over 400 educators. The organization has also supplied over 900 winter coats and over 10,000 hygiene items to those in need.
