Our Story

Diversified Family Services, founded in 1985 by Marilyn Klemens and two other women, began with a modest budget of $7,000. Over the years, dFs has expanded its reach, now serving approximately 200 individuals annually across Mercer, Crawford, Venango, Lycoming, Lawrence, and Beaver counties. With a dedicated team of over 210 employees, dFs is committed to providing quality care that families can trust. Our facilities undergo annual inspections by the Office of Developmental Programs, ensuring the highest standards of service.
