Founded in September 2016 by Patrice Ables Vance, Divas In Power began as a consortium of female Independent Travel Agents. Today, it has transformed into a nonprofit dedicated to community service, special needs support, and uplifting the underprivileged. With over 150 members, the organization operates across 15 regions in the United States and internationally, focusing on empowering women and girls through mentorship and community initiatives.
Divas In Power is on a mission to achieve 100,000 hours of community service through various initiatives. These include providing support for foster care children, assisting women facing health challenges, and helping the homeless. The organization has successfully raised funds for holiday gifts for young adult foster youth and support for domestic abuse survivors.
