Our Story

Founded in 1993 by members of the Harvard Law School Class of 1958, the District of Columbia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice emerged from a vision to promote public interest law. Inspired by Ralph Nader, this organization has dedicated itself to providing independent public policy analysis and recommendations to tackle systemic issues affecting the District of Columbia.
