Discovery Schools began as a vision of a dedicated group of Jefferson Parish residents aiming to reform public education. The journey started in Kenner, Louisiana, with the opening of Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, which welcomed 420 students in grades Pre-K-3rd, 5th, and 6th. Over the years, this initiative has blossomed, now educating over 3,000 students across multiple campuses, including the recent expansion to Baton Rouge.
