Our Story
The Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) was founded in 2007 by six women veterans who recognized the chronic gap in services for disabled and at-risk veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. With a mission to address the inadequacies of the Department of Veterans Affairs, DVNF has expanded its services under the leadership of experienced staff, including Joseph VanFonda, a combat veteran.
Impact
DVNF provides critically needed support to disabled and at-risk veterans, helping them navigate the complexities of seeking benefits and offering direct financial assistance to veteran organizations. Thousands of veterans have benefited from resources for mental health, housing stability, and food assistance.
Why Donate?
Your donation to DVNF directly supports veterans who have served our country and are now facing significant challenges.
