About DFW Writers Workshop

Founded in 1977, DFW Writers Workshop began as a small gathering of aspiring writers at Hurst Christian Church. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant community of nearly two hundred members who meet weekly at the Grapevine Convention Center. The workshop fosters a supportive environment where writers of all genres and experience levels can share their work, receive constructive feedback, and hone their craft.

Impact of the Workshop

With a legacy of over 350 traditionally published books, DFW Writers Workshop has made a significant impact on the literary community. The organization not only nurtures individual writers but also strengthens the bonds of collaboration and creativity among its members.
