Our Story

Established in 1975 by dedicated parents and community leaders, the Developmental Disabilities Service Organization (DDSO) was the first to harness the power of visual and performing arts to educate individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the years, DDSO has expanded its reach, operating eight day programs across three sites and a bookstore in the California State Capitol.

Impact

With the support of the community, DDSO has positively impacted over 400 clients, provided 625 volunteer hours, and created 500 unique artworks in the past year, showcasing a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
