Our Story

Development In Gardening (DIG) is dedicated to improving the nutrition and livelihoods of marginalized communities by teaching regenerative gardening techniques. This initiative focuses on uniquely vulnerable groups, including individuals living with HIV, elderly households, conservation refugees, and survivors of gender-based violence.

Impact

Through its programs, DIG has achieved remarkable results, with 96% of children in the Priority Household Program recovering from acute malnutrition. Additionally, 80% of trained farmers are women, who reinvest their earnings into their families and communities, fostering a cycle of empowerment.
