The Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance was established in 1967, emerging from the ashes of the Detroit Riots. A dedicated group of Catholic priests sought to heal a fractured community, and over the decades, the Alliance has expanded its mission to include affordable housing, economic development, anti-racism training, and vital programs for seniors and youth.
Enhancing community life, the Alliance engages members in social, moral, political, and economic issues across Metropolitan Detroit, striving to uplift the quality of life for all residents.
