Our Story

The Detroit Animal Welfare Group, founded by Kelley LaBonty in 2011, addresses the urgent need for animal rescue in Michigan. Operating from a 25-acre farm in Romeo, DAWG provides shelter and care for neglected, sick, and homeless animals.

Impact

Each year, DAWG saves over 500 pets, having rescued more than 3000 animals since its inception. The organization also offers medical care, spaying/neutering, and community education.

Why Donate?

Your donations directly support the care of these animals, covering vaccinations, medical treatments, and spaying/neutering. Every contribution helps save lives and promotes animal welfare.
