Design Foundation

Our Story

Established in 2001 by the Industrial Designers Society of America, Design Foundation is dedicated to supporting emerging design talent and increasing access to the field of industrial design. Over the past 20 years, it has distributed more than $120,000 in tuition assistance to aspiring designers.

Impact

Each year, Design Foundation awards $5,000 in tuition assistance to one graduate and one undergraduate student, while also providing complimentary access to national events for underrepresented individuals in the design community.
