Our Story

Desert Sounds began in 2008 when a child named Jeremy, inspired by his own experiences with music, sought to help his friends access music education despite financial barriers. This act of kindness led to the creation of The Jeremy Project, which loans instruments to underserved children. Over the years, the organization has expanded its programs to include various music education initiatives, helping hundreds of kids in Mesa and Chandler access music and education.

Impact

Desert Sounds has successfully loaned over 500 instruments to students in 87 schools, providing access to music education for underserved children and fostering a love of music in the community.
