Our Story

In the fall of 2008, Desert Best Friends Closet recognized a critical barrier to employment: professional attire. A survey revealed that 85% of Human Resource representatives in the desert hesitate to hire candidates who do not dress professionally. This insight led to the creation of the Interview Attire program, which provides essential clothing to job seekers in need. Initially operating from board members' homes, DBFC has grown significantly since moving to a dedicated service site in 2010, serving nearly 2000 clients.
